Dimauro, McGrath Sweep NECC Weekly Awards for Second Time

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – For the second time this season, freshman Alex Dimauro (Woburn, Mass.) and junior Emilia McGrath (Bowdoin, Maine) have swept the New England Collegiate Conference Women's Cross Country Weekly Awards.

Dimauro has been named NECC Rookie of the Week for the third time this season following a fifth place finish at the Blazer Invitational this past Saturday while McGrath was honored with the NECC Runner of the Week award for the second time. The duo have been a force all season long and swept the NECC Weekly Awards in the opening week of the 2014 campaign.

(Freshman - Woburn, Mass.)

Dimauro continued her terrific rookie campaign with a fifth place finish in a field of 99 runners at the Blazer Invitational hosted by Elms College. Dimauro finished the 6k course with a time of 27:11. Lesley finished 4th of 12 teams.

NECC WOMEN'S CROSS COUNTRY RUNNER OF THE WEEK
Emilia McGrath, Lesley University
(Junior, - Bowdoin, Maine)

McGrath helped power the Lynx to a fourth place overall finish this past Saturday at the Blazer Invitational hosted by Elms College. The junior finished tenth overall in a field of 99 runners with a time of 27:11. Lesley finished fourth of 12 teams.
