CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Lesley University freshman Alex Dimauro (Woburn, Mass.) has been named New England Collegiate Conference Women's Cross Country Rookie of the Week following a strong performance at the University of New England Invitational this past Saturday. NECC Assistant Commissioner for Communications, Roger Crosley, made the announcement this morning in the conference Weekly Report.
Dimauro was Lesley's top finisher, placing 14th in a field of 140 runners. This marks the second time Dimauro has received Rookie of the Week honors as she was also honored following her seventh pace finish at the Fens Classic in the opening weekend.
