Miller Garners NECC Weekly Award for 4th Time; Also Earns ECAC Honor

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – After snapping Lesley's 5k record, being named NECC Women's Cross Country Runner of the Year, and leading the Lynx to their sixth straight NECC Title, senior Leah Miller (Thomaston, Conn.) added two more awards this afternoon, earning NECC Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week honors for the fourth time this season while also earning the Corvias ECAC Women's Cross Country DIII New England Runner of the Week honors. Miller finished the 5k course in 18:48.13.

Miller crossed the finish line 1:32 ahead of the next closest competitor to help lead the Lynx secure a sixth consecutive New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) Women's Cross Country Championship, this morning at Stanley Park. Miller's 5k time of 18:48.13 was also good to set the Lesley 5k record.
