Miller Named NECC Runner of the Week for Third Time

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. -- For the third time this season, senior Leah Miller (Thomaston, Conn.) was named New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) Runner of the Week. NECC Assistant Commissioner for Media Relations, Robb Modica, made the announcement in the conference Weekly Report this morning.

Miller had a record-setting weekend at the New England Championships, snapping her own Lesley course mark at Franklin Park by one second, coming in at 19:38 to pace the Lynx.

Miller set the Lesley course record at Franklin Park this weekend at the New England Championships, coming in a 19:38. Miller's record setting pace, snapped her previous record of 19:39 set in 2011.
