CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Lesley University senior co-captain, Leah Miller (Thomaston, Conn.), has been named New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) Runner of the Week. NECC Assistant Commissioner for Media Relations, Robb Modica, made the announcement in the conference weekly report. This week marks the second time this season Miller has been honored with the award.
Miller finished led the Lynx to a 12th place finish at the UMass-Dartmouth Corsair Invitational this past Saturday with a seventh place finish on the 5k course.

NECC WOMEN'S CROSS COUNTRY RUNNER OF THE WEEK

Miller placed 7th in a field of 207 runners at the UMass-Dartmouth Invitational on Saturday. Miller completed the 5k course in 18:50.23. The time set the Lesley record on the North Dartmouth course.
