CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Lesley's Katrina Stroganoff (Cedar Grove, N.J.) has been named to the New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) All-Conference Second Team. NECC Assistant Commissioner for Media Relations, Robb Modica, made the announcement this afternoon.
Stroganoff enjoyed a breakout senior season, setting career-highs in nearly every statistical category. Her 2.54 kills per set ranked seventh in the NECC while her 3.30 total digs per set ranked eighth.
The senior posted eight doubles-doubles in 2013, including a 14 kill, 20 dig effort in a 3-1 loss to Daniel Webster College in the NECC First Round. Stroganoff posted a career-high 17 kills in a 3-0 win over Becker College. The outside-hitter finished the season on hot streak, registering double-digit kills in seven of Lesley's final eight matches.
