CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Lesley University returned to action today in their first race since returning from winter break as they traveled to nearby MIT for the annual Art Farnham Invitational.

Lynx sophomore Abbey Coppinger (Moultonborough, N.H.) paced the Lynx as she posted a sixth place finish in the 800-meter with a time of 2:56.44.

Senior Ariana Thomas (Shrewsbury, Vt.) finished seventh overall in the 1-mile, as she crossed at 6:38.67. Sophomore teammate Sydney Altschuler (Durham, Conn.) finished one place behind Thomas in the race, as she posted a time of 7:20.59.

On the men's side, Nick Tuccinardi (Melrose, Mass.) had a busy day as he competed in both the 60-meter dash and 400-meter dash. The senior posted a time of 8.94 in the 60-meter and crossed at 1:02.42 in the 400-meter.

The Lynx will return to the track one week from today as they to Tufts University for the yearly Tufts Stampede Indoor Meet.
