Miller, Women's Track Cruise at George Davis Invite

LOWELL, Mass. – Lesley University senior Leah Miller (Thomaston, Conn.) paced the Lynx attack in a pair of events at the George David Invitational hosted by UMass-Lowell this afternoon. Miller posted a 22nd place finish in a field of Division I, II, and III runners with a time of 5:09.05 in the 1500-meter run while cruising to a time of 2:30.30 in the 800-meter in her second event of the day.

Lesley junior Arianna Thomas (Shrewsbury, Vt.) and freshman Sydney Altschuler (Durham, Conn.) both joined Miller in the 1500-meter, finishing with times of 5:51.94 and 6:29.34, respectively.

Senior Kat Vicino (Mattapoisett, Mass.) had a strong day in the sprinting venue, posting an 11th place finish in the 400-meter with a time of 1:05.06. The time cut a full second off her personal best time for the second straight week. Vicino also ran in the 200-meter, posting a top-25 finish with a time of 29.09.

Senior Jacqueline Rosa (Wolcott, Conn.) finished Lesley's efforts on the day in the 3000-meter run, where she crossed at 12:06.09, good enough for a top-30 finish.

The Lynx will return to action in Cambridge next Saturday when they run at the Sean Collier Invitational hosted by MIT. The first event is slated to kick off at 10:00a.
