Vicino Leads Charge for Women's Track at Corsair Invite

DARTMOUTH, Mass. – Lesley University women's track senior Kat Vicino (Mattapoisett, Mass.) paced the Lynx at the annual Corsair Invitational hosted by UMass-Dartmouth this afternoon. Vicino finished 13th in the 400-meter, shaving a second off her personal-best time as she crossed 1:03.08. Vicino had a busy day as she also ran in the 200-meter, posting a top-30 finish with a time of 28.20.

Junior Arianna Thomas (Shrewsbury, Vt.) also ran in multiple events, joining Vicino in the 400-meter with a time of 1:15.75. The Shrewsbury, Vermont native also ran in the 800-meter, coming in at 2:53.17.

Senior Jacqueline Rosa (Wolcott, Conn.) and freshman Sydney Altschuler (Durham, Conn.) rounded out Lesley's performers as the pair ran in the 1500-meter run. Rosa posted a top-30 finish as she crossed at 5:32.33 while Altschuler followed up with a time of 6:20.65.

The Lynx will be back in action next Saturday as they participate in the UMass-Lowell Invitational at 10:00a.
