Miller Continues Strong Winter Campaign at Boston University

BOSTON, Mass. – Lesley University senior Leah Miller (Thomaston, Conn.) set a season-best time in the 1-mile run as she crossed the line in 5:12.61, good enough for a top-50 finish in a field of Division I, II, and III runners, to lead the Lynx this evening at the John Thomas Invitational hosted by Boston University. Miller's efforts were not done for the day as she posted a top-30 finish in the 1000-meter with a time of 3:10.02.

Classmate Jaqueline Rosa (Wolcott, Conn.) joined Miller in the 1-mile, finishing in 5:50.76 for the Lynx.

Juniors Arianna Thomas (Shrewsbury, Vt.) and Caroline McCormack (Pembroke, Mass.) competed in the 1000-meter, crossing at 3:40.49 and 3:55.27, respectively.

Senior Kat Vicino (Mattapoiset, Mass.) rounded out the Lynx' efforts as she finished the 200-meter in 27.17.

Lesley will be back in action on Saturday, February 1st when they compete in the Harvard Invitational in Cambridge.
