GAME OVERVIEW:

Bangor, Maine- The Husson women's tennis team took down Lesley Univeristy by a score of 8-1 on Friday evening, the Lynx fall to 1-6 on the season.

INSIDE THE SCORESHEET:

• The Husson duo of Blessard and Matlock defeated Lesley senior Theresa Pereira and junior Sara Stanton, 7-9, at No. 1 doubles.
• Junior Maddie Abbott and senior Jessica Russo fell to the pair of Natalie Tilton and Hannah Malinen at a score of 4-8, at No. 2 doubles.
• Bell and Brown bested sophomore Mary Pulling and freshmen Annie Dai at a score of 1-8, at No. 3 doubles.
• Maddie Abbott claimed the lone victory for the Lynx in the No. 1 singles position in a 6-4, and 6-3 score over Blessard.
• In a hard fought battle Russo fell to oppentent Tilton in a 7-9 score, at No. 3 singles.
• Pulling also came up short at No. 5 singles, falling to a score of 4-6 and 2-6 to Julia O'Leary.
