Kiddie, Pereira Earn NECC All-Conference Honors

ATTLEBORO, Mass. – Lesley University sophomores Caroline Kiddie (Scituate, Mass.) and Theresa Pereira (Hopedale, Mass.) have both been voted to the New England Collegiate Conference All-Conference Team.

Kiddie was placed on the First Team Singles and Pereira earned Second Team Singles honors while the duo was voted to the First Team Doubles.

Kiddie, the 2014 NECC Rookie of the Year and First Team All-Conference honoree, completed the season with a 9-1 singles record in ten NECC matches at the top flight while going 14-5 overall. The sophomore finished the regular season winning eight of her final nine matches.

Pereira earned Second Team honors after posting a 7-3 record in singles play, primarily playing in the No. 3 slot. After dropping the first six matches of the season, Pereira stormed back and finished 8-3 over her next 11 matches.

The Kiddie and Pereira doubles tandem were nearly unstoppable all season long, posting an 8-2 record in NECC play.

The Lynx wrapped up their season this past Sunday as they advanced and fell to Regis College in the NECC Championship for the second straight season.
