ATTLEBORO, Mass. – The Lesley University women's tennis team finished in a tie for second place in the New England Collegiate Conference Preseason Poll released today by NECC Assistant Commissioner for Media Relations, Rebecca Mullin. Lesley and Becker College each finished with 25 points in the poll to take the second spot.

The Lynx will be led by reigning NECC Rookie of the Year, Caroline Kiddie (Scituate, Mass.) and junior Frances De Leon (Murrieta, Calif.) as they look to qualify for the NECC Tournament for the third straight season.

Regis College was selected atop poll as the Pride collected all six first place selections for a total of 36 points.

Closing out the poll is Bay Path University with 18 points, Mitchell College with 15 points and Newbury College with 7 points.

The Lynx will open their 2015 campaign tomorrow night as they will host Wentworth in a non-conference match. Lesley's conference schedule will start on Saturday, September 12 as they will host Regis College at 2:00p.
