Women's Tennis Slated Fifth in NECC Coaches Poll

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The Lesley women's tennis team was picked to finish fifth in the New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) coaches poll released today by NECC Assistant Commissioner for Communications, Robb Modica. The Lynx return a group of four juniors who looked to improve on a winless 2012 campaign.

Junior Emma True (Lee, N.H.) will return after a solid year where she earned five wins in singles and teamed up with classmate Molly Phelps (Durham, N.H.) to pick up four wins in doubles.

Regis College received 34 points was picked by the coaches to defend their 2012 NECC title while Becker College and Bay Path College were picked to round out the top three.
