THE LEAD –  Women's Soccer headed to Framingham State for a non-conference matchup, where they walked away with a 5-0 win.

HOW IT HAPPENED

  • The first half of the match remained scoreless, despite Lesley outshooting the Rams 10-1.
  • Lesley pulled ahead in the 61st minute with an unassisted goal from Haile Carrillo Hayes.
  • Just four minutes later Sage Henry found the back of the net, sending the Lynx up 2-0.
  • Henry struck again, finishing off a pass from Naya Sellas.
  • Kylie Chagnon tacked one on the board after her long strike hit the back of the net.
  • Chagnon scored again for the Lynx, off a corner from Bethany Slivka.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS

  • Madison Reed made 2 saves in the net, collecting her 6th shutout of the season.
  • Lesley outshot Framingham 26-2, allowing just one shot per half.
  • They also lead the match 5-0 on corner kicks.
