THE LEAD – The Lynx headed to Maine Maritime Academy for an NAC matchup, earning another win on their season with a 1-0 final score.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- The only goal of the game came five minutes into the match, a goal from captain Abby Kalou, assisted by Chase Livesey.
- Goalkeeper Madison Reed saved the Lynx' lead in the 64th minute when Sophia Hernandez was awarded a penalty shot. Reed saved the shot to preserve Lesley's lead, as well as the shutout.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS
- Reed made 4 saves in the net for the Lynx, snagging her fourth win and shutout of the season.
- The Lynx outshot the Mariners 14-7, and led 8-3 in corner kicks.
