CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Lesley University junior Karlie Rubin (San Diego, Calif.) has been tabbed as the New England Collegiate Conference Women's Soccer Player of the Week as announced in the NECC Weekly Report by Assistant Commissioner for Media Relations Rebecca Mullen.

Rubin opened up conference play with a bang with her first career hat-trick in a victory over Southern Vermont College.

NECC WOMEN'S SOCCER PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Karlie Rubin, Lesley (Jr., M, San Diego, Calif.) - Rubin powered the Lynx offense as they opened up NECC play by blanking Southern Vermont 4-0 on Saturday. Rubin notched all three of her goals in the first half to complete her first career hat-trick. The junior midfielder now has four goals on the season. She also helped lead Lesley in their other contest of the week against Tufts that ended in a 1-1 draw.
