Women's Soccer Earns NECC's Top Seed for Seventh Straight Season

ATTLEBORO, Mass. – The Lesley University women's soccer team finished the New England Collegiate Conference regular season with an unblemished 9-0 record and will play as the top seed in the NECC Women's Soccer Tournament for the seventh straight season.

The three-time defending champion Lynx will receive a bye in the opening Quarterfinals round before hosting a Semifinals match on Thursday at 8:00p at Edward Field.

The first round of games will see second seed Elms College play host to seventh-seeded Regis College at 6:00p on Tuesday. The Blazers earn the second spot after an impressive 8-1 NECC record, with their lone loss coming at the hand of the Lynx.

Southern Vermont College has earned the third-seed in the tournament and will host fifth-seed Newbury College at 2:00p. The final first round match will be played at No. 4 Becker College as they Hawks will welcome No. 5 Mitchell College at 6:00p.  

Quarterfinals - Tuesday, November 3

Game 1: #7 Regis at #2 Elms – 6:00 p.m.
Game 2: #6 Newbury at #3 Southern Vermont – 2:00 p.m.
Game 3: #5 Mitchell at #4 Becker – 6:00 p.m. 

Semifinals - Thursday, November 5

Game 4: Game 3 winner @ #1 Lesley – 8:00 p.m.
Game 5: Game 1 winner vs. Game 2 winner

Championship - Saturday, November 7

Game 6: Game 4 winner vs. Game 5 winner
