CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The Lesley University women's soccer team will travel to host Montclair State University in the NCAA Division III Women's Soccer First Round. The Lynx, who wrapped up their third straight New England Collegiate Conference title, tied the programs wins record as they finished the season with an 18-3-0 record while being ranked No. 10 in the latest National Soccer Coaches Association of America New England (NSCAA) Regional Poll.
Their trip to the NNCAA Tournament is their third straight and third in program history.
Montclair State, who was ranked No. 8 in the latest NCAA National Poll, earned the automatic bid from the New Jersey Athletic Conference with a victory over The College of New Jersey in penalty kicks. The teams finished regulation in a 1-1 tie. This also marks the third straight trip to the NCAA Tournament for the Red Hawks.
