Landerholm Named NSCAA All-East Region Scholar

Lesley University junior Hannah Landerholm (Edmonds, Wash.) has been named to the 2013 National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Women's Scholar All-East Second Team. The midfielder has received her fair share of honors this season earning New England Collegiate Conference Player of the Year and being named to the NECC First Team and the NSCAA New England All-Region First Team.

The midfielder helped lead the Lynx to their second straight NECC Championship and second consecutive appearance in the NCAA Tournament. Landerholm finished second on the team with 11 goals and 23 points, while also adding an assist in 20 matches. Seven of her 11 tallies proved to be game-winners.

In order to be eligible for the award, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.30 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale); start more than 50 percent of all games and be a significant contributor to the team; and be nominated by an institution that is a current NSCAA College Services member.
