Lynx victorious over Rivier College 3-1

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - Lesley University continued their early season success as they defeated Rivier College 3-1 to improve their unbeaten record to 4-0-0.

Talented rookies led the Lynx as freshman midfielder Alyson Durben (Stow, Mass.) and striker Christina Corso (Shoreham, N.Y.) accounted for all the team's goals in the second half of the game.  Durben lead the way with two goals, while Corso chipped in with one.

"This team is loaded with young talent.  It's exciting to see these young players develop over the course of the season.  To see them step up and produce big goals late in the game shows how much they've grown in such a short period of time." said Head Coach Paul Vasconcelos.

Rivier's only goaled was scored by Jamie Conrad on her only shot of the game.
