NASHUA, N.H. - For the second straight year the Lesley women's soccer program opened up their season with a victory. Lesley opened up the 2007 Eagle Kick-Off Tournament in Nashua, NH with a 3-0 win over SUNY Potsdam.
2006 NAC Rookie of the Year, Jodi Fralick (Woburn, Mass.), decided that she was not going to fall into a sophomore slump as she scored all three goals for the Lynx. Fralick scored at 34:07, 43:00 and 77:00. Fralick's three goals came on 11 shorts from the talented striker. Fralick's second goal came off of a pass from fellow sophomore talent Cathryn Folkestad (Ipswich, Mass.).
Hailee Lowe (Hamilton, Mass.) got the start in
net and did not disappoint as she posted a shut-out.
"This is just the beginning of the road so you do not want to take
too much out of the first game," said Head Coach Paul
Vasconcelos. "Nevertheless the team played very well
together, and let's just say I'm very excited to see what they do
in the future."
