Pitcher and Rookie of the Week

Freshman Jordan Day (Seminole, Fla.) was a dual threat last week as the Lynx went 4-0 in conference play. Day picked up all four of the wins in the circle for the Lynx, sweeping two conference doubleheaders over Bay Path and Dean. She finished the week with an ERA of 0.52, giving up only two earned runs in 27.0 innings pitched, and striking out 31.  At the plate, she batted .500 with a double, four RBI, while scoring one run herself.
