ATTLEBORO, Mass. – Senior third baseman Carlyn Barker (Temecula, Calif.) was named the New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) Player of the Week announced Monday afternoon. Barker guided the Lynx to a 3-3 week which included a 3-1 record in conference posting a staggering 1.730 OPS (1.048 SLG%, .682 OBP.)

In game one against defending NECC Champion Becker College, Barker closed out the week driving in the game-winning run in the bottom of the eighth inning for the walk-off 2-1. The previous day in an 18-1 win over Wheelock College, she came a triple away from hitting for the cycle going four-for-four with a double, homerun and four RBI.

Additionally, Barker has reached base safely via a walk or a base-hit in the past 23 games as well as is also in the middle of a 12-game hitting streak.
