DANBURY, Conn. – The postseason awards keep rolling in for Lesley University sophomore Mekenzi Golden (Laguna Niguel, Calif.) as she has been named to the Eastern College Athletic Conference Division III New England All Star Second Team.
The honor comes after Golden was named New England Collegiate Conference Player of the Year and placed on NECC First Team All-Conference, and National Fastpitch Coaches Association All-New England Second Team.
The sophomore, who was named to the ECAC All-Star Team for the first time in her career, was a force at the plate all season long as she hit .433 with seven home runs, 41 RBI, 13 doubles, and 22 runs scored in 31 total games.
