LOUISVILLE, Ken. – For the second straight season, Lesley University's Mekenzi Golden (Laguna Niguel, Calif.) has been honored by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association as she has been named to the All-New England Second Team. The designation comes one week after Golden was named New England Collegiate Conference Player of the Year.

This marks the thirteenth time in program history that a Lesley student-athlete has been placed on the NFCA All-New England Team. The sophomore earned All-New England First Team accolades in 2014.

In 31 games, Golden recorded a .433 batting average with seven homers, 13 doubles, one triple, 41 RBI, and 22 runs scored while compiling a .779 slugging percentage.
