NAC honors Durben with ROTW award

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - For her efforts in the final week of the regular season, freshman Alyson Durben has won the North Atlantic Conference Rookie of the Week award for the third time this season.

The Lynx went 5-1 this past week to earn the #2 seed in the NAC playoffs.  Durben was a major part in the offense as she batted .579 with 11 hits in 19 at bats.  Four of her hits were for extra bases including three doubles and one triple.  The outfielder also had six runs and six RBI.

Durben's best performance came in game one against Thomas College going 4-for-4 with a run scored and two RBI in close 4-2 victory over the Terriers.

With three Rookie of the Week awards under her belt, Durben looks to be one of the top contenders for Rookie of the Year which will be revealed later this week.

The Lynx are scheduled to play their quarterfinal match up with Bay Path College on Tuesday April 29 at 4 p.m. but please recheck the schedule in case there is a change in date and time.
