FT. MYERS, FL – Amy Breen (Holbrook, MA) pitched a complete game against Umass Boston as Lesley University won 7-2. The win is the first of the year for the Lady Lynx as they improve to 1-1 on the year.

Gianna Spaziante (Hawthorne, NY) led the Lynx offensively going 3-4 from the plate with two RBI’s. Christina DiGIorgio (Lowell, MA) also had two RBI’s for the Lynx as she went 1-3 from the plate.

Lesley jumped on Umass early as they got two runs in the bottom of the second, taking a 2-0 lead. With momentum on their side the Lady Lynx got three more runs in the bottom of the third to take a 5-0 lead. From there Amy Breen didn’t need any more help as she pitched a stellar game on the way to the win.
