THE LEAD – Lesley University competed at the UMass Dartmouth XC Invitational race, going up against 39 teams this past weekend. The Lynx came in 38^th place in the Men's 8k and 34^th in the Women's 5k.

LESLEY HIGHLIGHTS

• Rookie Dawson Romito placed 196 out of 303 runners, coming in with a 29:06 finish.
• In the women's 5k race, Lesley Junior Hannah Nangle posted a 104^th place finish, with a 20:12 time.
• Olivia Colby came in at the 250^th spot, finishing with a time of 26:31.

WINNING PERFORMANCES

• Hannah Prosser from Boston University finished first in the women's 5k, with a 16:20 race time, a full minute below the next runner. Prosser, along with her teammates set BU up for a first place overall team finish.
• In the men's 8k race, Wondu Summa from Franklin Pierce snagged the first place finish with a 24:04 time. Despite Summa's win, Franklin Pierce came in 5^th place overall.
• The host UMass Dartmouth finished 13^th in the men's 8k, and 24^th in the women's 5k.
