ATTLEBORO, Mass. – For the second time this season, Lesley University senior Ian Barber (Westhampton, Mass.) has been named New England Collegiate Conference Runner of the Week. NECC Assistant Commissioner for Media Relations Rebecca Mullen made the announcement in the conference Weekly Report.
Barber paced the Lynx at the James Early Invitational hosted by Westfield State University this past Saturday, earning a top-25 finish in the large field. Barber was named conference Runner of the Week on September 21st following a strong performance at the UMass-Dartmouth Invite.

Ian Barber, Lesley (Sr., Westhampton, Mass.) - Barber led the charge for the Lynx as he posted his best 8k time at the James Early Invitational crossing at 27:04. Barber cruised to a 21st place finish in a field of 373 runners as he beat his time from the same event last year by 12-seconds.
