ATTLEBORO, Mass. – Lesley University senior Ian Barber (Westhampton, Mass.) has been named New England Collegiate Conference Runner of the Week for his performance this past Saturday at the UMass-Dartmouth Invitational. NECC Assistant Commissioner for Media Relations Rebecca Mullen made the announcement today in the conference Weekly Report.

Barber was the first Lynx to cross at the event as he posted a season-best time of 27:16.

NECC Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week

Ian Barber, Lesley (Sr., Westhampton, Mass.) - Ian Barber led Lesley at the UMass-Dartmouth Invitational this past Saturday as he averaged a 5:27 mile and posted a complete time of 27:16 in the season's first five mile race for the Lynx.

Barber will lead the Lynx when they return to action on Saturday as they head to the annual Elms College Invitational.
