MANCHESTER, Mass. – Sophomore Nick Green (Stoughton, Mass.) took third place in what was a tight finish at the Trinity Bantam Invitational at Wickham Park this morning. The second, third, and fourth-place finishers this morning all came in within five seconds of each other as Green came in with a time of 16:57 on the 5k course.

The Lynx finished sixth overall among the nine teams that raced, finishing 137 points and a total time of 1:31:53.

Sophomore Ian Barber (Westhampton, Mass.) was the second finisher for the Lynx, coming in 25^th overall with a time of 18:06 while senior Chris Conforti (Brattleboro, Vt.) followed, crossing the line in 18:28.

Junior Dillon Simmons (Middleboro, Mass.) came across in 19:05 for the Lynx while freshman Kilton Webb (Wayne, Me.) finished the course in 19:17.

After a week off, the Lynx will return to racing on Saturday, September 21^st when they will run in the UMass-Dartmouth Invitational.
