Sophomore Nick Green (Stoughton, Mass.) has been named NECC Runner of the Week in the opening week of the 2013 season. The 2012 NECC Rookie of the Year got off to a great start in his first race of the season, placing fifth in the Fifth Annual Fens Classic hosted by Emmanuel College.

Green posted a fifth-place finish in the Fifth Annual Fens Classic hosted by Emmanuel College on Saturday. The sophomore completed the 5k course in 16:41 to lead the Lynx to finish fifth overall.
