THE LEAD – The Lesley University Track & Field team saw four PR's on Saturday afternoon at the Bruno's Backyard Classic hosted by Brown University at Brown Stadium.

MEN'S HIGHLIGHTS

• Dawson Romito PR'd in the mile (1,600m) race with a time of 4:37.83, good for third place overall in a field of 46 runners. He was the first Division III runner in the event as the top two finishers were both affiliated with Division I institutions.
• Nathan Asgdom ran well in the 200m and 100m Hurdles. His 17.36 second time in the hurdle was good for second place overall in the event. The rookie also clocked in at 25.06 seconds in the 200m for a 16^th place finish.

WOMEN'S HIGHLIGHTS

• The Women's Distance Medley Relay team of Michelle Hutter, Kenzie Mann, Holly Swinamer and Hannah Nangle took second in the race, only behind Northeastern's Running Club, crossing the finish in 16:53.21.
• Nangle also picked up a PR in the mile (1,600m) race with a third place overall finish of 5:42.45. Like Romito, she was the top NCAA Division III finisher in the event which featured a field of 23 racers. Mann and Swinamer also raced in the mile finishing in 18^th and 23^rd, respectively, and both posting a PR in the race.
• Raffaella Vogt finished eighth in the 200m field with a time of 31.62 seconds and 14^th in the 100m event coming in at 15.30 seconds.
• Hutter crossed the finish line in 1:23.05 in the 400m race for a 12^th place finish.

UP NEXT

• The Lynx hit the road next weekend for the 2024 North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Championship meet hosting by SUNY Cobleskill in Cobleskill, N.Y. The championship meet is scheduled to begin at 1:00 PM on Saturday, April 27.
