Lesley Competes in Sean Collier Invitational

Lesley University men's and women's outdoor track teams competed in nine events at the Sean Collier Invitational track meet hosted by MIT on Saturday, April 21. Lesley's two highest finishers were Mike Fleming (18th) in the men's long jump and Alex DiMauro (18th) in the women's 1500 meters.

Men's 100 Meters: Ethan Merians came 38th with a time of 13.78.

Men's 200 Meters: Mike Fleming finished 31st with a time of 24.85.

Men's Long Jump: Mike Fleming came 18th in the long jump with an overall mark of 5.30m.

Women's 100 Meters: Lesley had three participants in this event. Rachel Piontkewicz came 29th with a time of 14.74. Emma De Oliver finished just a place behind Piontkewicz with a time of 14.88, and Kelly Flynn finished in 36th place at 18.43.

Women's 200 Meters: Lesley had four athletes in this event. Kayla Ranere ended up in 45th place with a time of 31.54. Emma De Oliver finished a place further back at 31.71. Caitlin Sugrue finished in 48th place with a time of 32.41 while Kelly Flynn finished in 50th place at 39.22.

Women's 400 Meters: The Lynx's Julia Fagundes finished 20th with a time of 1:07.69. Kayla Ranere finished 10 places further back in 30th place with a time of 1:13.02. Senior Caitlin Sugrue ended up in 32nd place with a time of 1:18.92.

Women's 1500 Meters: Lesley's Alex DiMauro came 18th with a time of 5:26.36. Nicole Footer finished 28th at 5:42.60. Anne Cooper finished in 32nd place with a time of 5:53.23.

Women's 5000 Meters: Lesley's Lauren Deschrouer finished last of 12 in this event with a time of 29:27.87.
