BOSTON, Mass. – The Lesley University men's track team wrapped up their 2016 indoor campaign today at the annual David Hemery Valentine's Invitational hosted by Boston University.
Lesley freshman Mike Fleming (Southwick, Mass.) and senior Kolin Perry (Reno, Nev.) were the lone competitors for the Lynx on the day and both turned in great performances.
Fleming saw two previous personal-best times drop as he came in at 7.77 in the 60-meter dash before cruising to a time of 25.19 in the 200-meter. This marks the second consecutive week Fleming has trimmed down his times in each race.
Perry also topped his best time in the 800-meter for the second straight week as he crossed the line at 2:25.98 in the event. The senior harrier also competed in the 1000-meter and finished with a time of 3:14.38.
The Lynx will open their outdoor season on Saturday, April 2nd in Medford, Mass. at the Tufts Invitational.
