MEDFORD, Mass. – The men's and women's track team continued their indoor season this afternoon as they traveled to nearby Medford, Mass. for the annual Tufts University Stampede.
Senior Arianna Thomas (Shrewsbury, Vt.) paced the Lynx as she led a trio of Lynx who posted season-best times in in the 1-mile. Thomas turned in a time of 6:25.27 while sophomores Sydney Altschuler (Durham, Conn.) and Rachel Asam (Coeymans Hollow, N.Y.) followed Thomas as they crossed at 7:09.77 and 7:21.47, respectively.
Sophomore Abbey Coppinger (Moultonborough, N.H.) turned in a time of 2:57.31 in the 800-meter, one second shy of her season-best mark.
On the men's side, senior Nick Tuccinardi (Melrose, Mass.) ran in a pair of events, completing the 60-meter dash in 8.84 while posting a time of 1:01.15 in the 400-meter.
The Lynx are off until Saturday, February 14th when they head to Boston University for the annual Valentine Invitational.
