Miller, Green Have Record-Setting Day at All-New England's

WESTFIELD, Mass. – Lesley University senior Leah Miller (Thomaston, Conn.) and sophomore Nick Green (Stoughton, Mass.) represented the Lynx at the annual NEICCA All-New England Championships hosted at Westfield State University. Both runners had record-setting performances in the 10,000-meter.

Miller finished the race with a time of 38:37.88, shaving nearly two minutes off her personal-best and school record time of 40:19.17 set earlier this season at the Snowflake Invite hosted by Tufts University. Her performance was good enough for an 11th place finish in a field of Division I, II, and III runners from the New England Region.

Green had an equally impressive performance in the men's 10,000-meter as he topped his personal-best and school record time by nearly a full minute, crossing at 32:41.53. Green finished in 14th place overall in the deep field and was the second Division III runner to cross in the race.

Green's previous best was also set at the Snowflake Invite when he ran to a time of 33:34.46.

The pair will return to action next weekend when they run at the Eastern College Athletic Conference Championships hosted at RPI.
