MEDFORD, Mass. – The Lesley University men's track team started their 2014 outdoor campaign this past Saturday at the annual Tufts University Snowflake Invitational. Sophomore Nick Green (Stoughton, Mass.) led the Lynx as he set the program record in the 10,000-meter in his first time ever running the event with a time of 33:34.46.
Senior Max Bulger (Falmouth, Me.) paced the Lynx in the 1500-meter run as he crossed in 4:18.48. Sophomore Ian Barber (Westhampton, Mass.) and senior Andy Scott (Merrimac, Mass.) followed Bulger in the event with times of 4:28.11 and 4:28.75, respectively.
Sophomore Tyree Williams (Boston, Mass.) participated in the 400-meter for the first time in his career and posted a top-35 finish with a time of 54.71.
The Lynx will return to action on Saturday, April 5th when they head to the Fitchburg State Invitational at 10:00a.
