Williams Paces Men's Track Harvard Invite

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Sophomore Tyree Williams (Boston, Mass.) paced the Lesley University men's track team this afternoon, running in both the 60-meter and 200-meter at the Harvard Invitational. In a field of Division I, II, and III runners, Williams posted a top-35 finish in the 60-meter with a time of 7.58 while posting a 22nd place overall finish in the 200-meter, crossing in 24.35.

Sophomore Chris Hunt (San Diego, Calif.) and freshman Dexter Buford (Atlanta, Ga.) joined Williams in the 60-meter, coming in at 7.58 and 8.05, respectively.

Senior Max Bulger (Falmouth, Me.) led the Lynx in the 3000-meter, finishing the race in 9:19.00 while classmate Andy Scott (Merrimac, Mass.) followed Barber with a time of 9:20.33. Sophomore Ian Barber (Westhampton, Mass.) joined Bulger and Scott in the race, crossing the line in 9:32.89.

Lesley will return to the track next weekend when they travel to the David Hemery Invitational hosted by Boston University. Last weekend Williams, Barber, and Scott all posted personal-bests on the BU track at the John Thomas Invitational.
