Jason Walsh joined the Lesley Athletics staff in 2024 as the Head Coach of the Men's Tennis program. 

Walsh comes to Lynx Nation with over 10 years of experience as a Head Tennis Pro at multiple tennis clubs throughout the United States and currently serves as one of the High Performance Tennis Pros at the Wightman Tennis Center in Weston, Mass. Coach Walsh has been at Wightman since 2020 and has been instrumental building several new programs at the club including the creation of a new USTA Women's team as well as the addition of the first-ever licensed Cardio Tennis program for his members. 

Before joining the Wightman staff, Walsh had a stint at Bosse Sports in Sudbury, Mass., overseeing the junior program to help aspiring high school players reach their goals of playing at the collegiate level. He also served as the Head Pro at The Dunes Club in Narraganset, R.I. where he helped revamp the entire tennis program on his first position on the East Coast. 

Walsh was a four-year collegiate standout at Aquinas College where he won 196 matches over four years as a scholarship student-athlete, ranking second all-time in career wins. He was ranked as high as No. 38 in singles play and No. 25 in doubles play in the national NAIA rankings and helped lead his squad to four consecutive regional championships as well as four straight NAIA National Championship appearances. 

He graduated from Aquinas in 2006 with a Bachelor of Science in Geography he served as an Assistant Coach to the Aquinas Women's Tennis program for two seasons, helping the squad garner their first NAIA Top-25 National Ranking. He went on to get his professional start in coaching in Michigan at the Greater Midland Tennis Center where he served as the Director of Leagues and Assistant Director of Competitive Tennis over a seven-year span before moving on to the Little Harbor Club in Harbor Springs, Michigan as the Assistant Director of Tennis. 

Prior to his recruitment and success at Aquinas, Walsh was a decorated high school player in Michigan, earning a National Rank during his junior season. He was the No. 1 singles player at Grandville HS, named to the Michigan All-State team in 2001 and won more than 50 USTA-sanctioned tournaments during his amateur career. 

Walsh is currently a 5.0 USTA rated player and holds PTR Certifications in High Performance Pro PTR (2014), 10 & Under PTR (2011) and Adult PTR (2007).
