THE LEAD – The Eastern Nazarene College men's tennis team chalked up its second-straight 9-0 victory, sweeping Lesley University on Wednesday afternoon at the ENC Tennis Courts.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Lions dominated the action, not allowing the Lynx to take a single set in either singles or doubles play.
- Franco Milivinti downed Nick Rosen in No. 1 singles action, 6-0, 6-0 while Avelino Porrando posted the same score in No. 2 singes vs. James Ontiveros.
- Bennett Locke battled Carlos Gallardo in No. 3 singles, falling 6-0, 6-0 while DJ Cronin's win streak came to an end with a 6-0, 6-0 setback in No. 4 singles to Daniel Gonzalez.
- Chris Chukwurak and Duncan Finnie dropped in No. 5 and No. 6 singles, falling to Iker Rodriguez and Vittal Harith in straight sets.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS
