ATTLEBORO, Mass. – First year Beowulf Urban (Blue Hills, Maine) earned New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) Rookie of the Week honors, announced Monday afternoon. Urban helped guide the Lynx to a 2-0 week which included a 5-4 win over conference foe Wheelock College on Sunday.

In a 7-2 victory over non-conference Albertus Magnus College on Saturday, Urban he swept both his singles and doubles matches. Partnering with teammate junior Niko Marcolini the pair won first doubles 8-4 before taking third singles in two sets, 6-1 and 6-3. The following day against NECC opponent Wheelock College won the first set of third singles 6-3 but dropped the following two sets.

The Lynx return to the courts tonight against non-conference Salve Regina at 7:30 p.m.
