ATTLEBORO, Mass. – First year Evan Flaherty (Scituate, Mass.) was named the New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) Rookie of the Week, announced Monday afternoon.

Flaherty earned his first collegiate career singles victory in the Lynx's first match of the season against conference foe Becker College last Thursday evening. The south shore native defeated won fifth singles in two sets knocking off Adam Kielczewski, 6-3 and 6-0.
