How It Happend

Just over a minute into the match Brody Calvert scored his first of the night on a through pass up the middle from Nicholas Vanti to give the Buccaneers a 1-0 advantage. A little over six minutes later, Derac scored his goal on a pass from Vasconcelos to tie the game at 1-1 eight minute in. In the 25th minute, Lesley earned a free kick left of the net. Osmyn Atwood delivered the ball into the box and it bounced off of John Burke's foot and into the net giving the Lynx a 2-1 lead. Lesley took their 2-1 lead into the halftime break.

In the second half, the score remained 2-1 Lesley until the 72nd minute of the game. With under 20 minutes to play, Luke Twomey delivered a ball into the box to Calvert and he buried it for his second goal of the game and eighth goal of the season to tie the game at 2-2. 29 seconds later off the kickoff, the Bucs put another ball into the box and it bounced around before finding the right foot of Twomey and he put it in the net to give the Bucs a 3-2 lead. Then, in the 81st minute, Soughou put a ball to the peg of Calvert. He dribbled around the keeper who had come out to take the ball off his foot and Calvert put the icing on the cake for the Bucs giving them a 4-2 lead. Maritime protected the lead for the next 10 chippy minutes of soccer and the final whistle sounded with the Buccaneers winning in comeback fashion, 4-2.
