THE LEAD –  The Lynx hosted NEC for a non conference matchup, losing to the Pilgrims 2-1.  

HOW IT HAPPENED

• The entirety of the first half went scoreless, Lesley firing off three shots to NEC's six.
• Lesley took the lead in the 67^th minute when freshman Miguel Vasconcelos fired one in with an assist to Marc Kenny Derac.
• NEC tied the match in the 81^st minute off a goal from Logan Cassin who scored off a cross pass from Wyatt Fibbert.
• The game winning goal came just five minutes later when Darren Mota took a free kick, sending the ball over to Fibbert on the wing to clinch the win for the Pilgrims.

WINNING PERFORMANCES

• Josiah Williams made 2 saves in the net for the Lynx.
• Vasconcelos netted his third goal of the season.
