ATTLEBORO, Mass. – Lesley University junior Nuno Pereira (Dorchester, Mass.) has been named the New England Collegiate Conference Men's Soccer Player of the Week, announced today by NECC Assistant Commissioner for Media Relations Rebecca Mullen.

Pereira has made lighting up the scoreboard a regular habit as he has found the back of the net six times in his last seven games. The junior provided all of Lesley's offense in a 2-1 win over Elms last Saturday.

Nuno Pereira, Lesley (Jr., M/F, Dorchester, Mass.) - Pereira led the Lynx to a key NECC win over Elms on Saturday. The junior opened the scoring in the 11th minute before netting the game-winner in the 69th minute to secure the victory for the Lynx. Pereira now has seven goals on the season.
