Men's Soccer Picked to Finish Second in Coaches Poll

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Lesley's men's soccer team has been tabbed to finish second in the annual New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) Preseason Coaches Poll released today by NECC Assistant Commissioner for Communications, Robb Modica. Elms, which topped Lesley 2-0 in the 2012 NECC Championship match, were picked to defend their title in 2013.

A year after finishing a perfect 7-0 in conference play, the Lynx lost 11 players to graduation, including NECC Player of the Year, Ari Sinanis, and NECC Goalkeeper of the Year, Nigel Leahy. Lesley will rely on a returning core of tri-captains Makenize Lukas (Reno, Nev.), Jordan Santos (Middlebury, Conn.), and keeper Nathan Trucks (Guilford, Conn.) along with several newcomers to make another run at the conference championship.

The Lynx open their schedule on Friday, August 30th when they host Suffolk University at 7:00p at Buckingham, Browne, and Nichols.
