Domingo selected to NEISL Senior All-Star Game

CAMBRIDGE, MA -- Lesley University defender Christian Domingo has been selected to play in the New England Intercollegiate Soccer League (NEISL) Senior All-Star Game.

The contest, which will take place on Sunday, November 27 at 11:00 a.m. at Harvard's Soldier Field Soccer Stadium, is an accumulation of the top 36 seniors representing 21 New England Division III institutions. Domingo, a native of Granada Hills, CA, was the only player from a New England Collegiate Conference institution selected for the game.

A 6-foot co-captain of the Lynx, Domingo started and finished his senior season strongly. He tallied an assist in a 4-0 season-opening win at Eastern Nazarene, and three days later scored two goals on late second-half headers in Lesley's come-from-behind 2-1 win over Mount Ida on September 4. He also scored the game-winner in the Lynx senior day 1-0 win over Newbury and added goals in the next two games, NECC playoff wins over Mitchell and at Daniel Webster, in leading Lesley to its first-ever NECC Championship and NCAA Tournament appearance.

For the season, he ranked third on the Lynx with 13 points and three game-winning goals on only eight shots on goal.
