CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Entering his fifth year head coach Paul Vasconcelos brings in another strong recruiting class to help Lesley looking to win that elusive NECC Championship.

Vasconcelos brings in five recruits for preseason that will start in just a couple of weeks.  The Lynx graduated two starters, one of which was the NECC Player of the Year Scott Wheeler. The Lynx are coming off of a program best 15-5-2 season that saw them ECAC tournament invitation.  The Lynx are looking to make their first ever NCAA tournament appearance in 2010.

Goalkeepers

Nathan Trucks from Guilford, CT - Trucks comes from perennial powerhouse Guilford, Trucks led his team to a SCC Championship his senior year and was named the Tournament Most Outstanding Player. He played his club ball for FSA and was a five year Connecticut ODP keeper.

Coach Vasconcelos says: "Nathan is a smart keeper and gives us great depth at the goalkeeper position, we are very high on him and look forward to having him contribute in the future."

Defenders

Christian Domingo from Los Angeles, CA - A two year starter at the College of the Canyons, before Canyons Domingo was a 1^st team ALL- CIF selection at Delphi Academy.

Coach Vasconcelos says:  "Christian gives us immediate quality in the back and comes in with experience. We are very high on him and expect him to be a staple in the middle of the field. "

Chris Vilter from Temecula, CA - Starting defender at Great Oak high school and was a starting back for Randy Pauley at Arsenal FC.

Coach Vasconcelos says: "Chris is a great student athlete who played for a successful high school program and trained in a great system. We expect to bring him along and feel he will be a solid defender."

Midfielders

Jonathan (JJ) Jones Takano from Tokyo, Japan - Takano is a quick, experienced player who played two years under Scott Benjamin at Bunker Hill.

Coach Vasconcelos says: "JJ is another player who comes in with experience and is match tested, we feel he is the type of player who will come in and play right away."

Forwards

Ali Sozeri from Istanbul, Turkey - A 1^st team All-VIC striker at the Miller school in Charlottesville, VA where he was also a Virginia 2^nd team all state honorable mention. Sozeri played his club ball for SOCA Lightning under coach Shay Bell.

Coach Vasconcelos says: "We believe Ali is the answer to our scoring problem, he is the prototypical striker, tall, athletic and smart. We expect big things from him right away."
